Charlene Knight Dierlam, 64, of Port Lavaca passed away November 16, 2019. She was born February 5, 1955 in Karnes City, Texas to Walter Woodrow and Fannie Marie Knight. Charlene worked for various school districts throughout the year teaching Spanish and ESL and was active in the Spanish Club at the school. She was a Cheerleader for Stroman High School; was a former Victoria County Rodeo Queen and Miss Victoria; loved to sing and sang in various bands including River City Band, Southbound and the Gin Tonics. She loved all her animals and saving them (she was the reality version of Snow White).
She is survived by her loving husband, John Wallace Dierlam; sisters-in-law, Sharon Marek and Merri Lynn Hillis; numerous nieces and nephews; and numerous great-nieces and nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Elizabeth Dee Knight Hoehne; and brothers, James Michael Knight and Richard Doyle Knight.
Visitation will be held Saturday, November 23, 2019 at 1 p.m. and Funeral Services will be Saturday, November 23, 2019 at 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Port Lavaca Texas. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Gardens.
Pallbearers are Michael Jones, Christopher Jones, Gary Williams, William Owen, Madi Marek and Moby Marek.
