

Frank M Garza, 81, of Point Comfort passed away February 26, 2011 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born September 17, 1929 in Edna to the late Emilio and Juanita Mireles Garza. He was retired from Alcoa where he was a member of the Alcoa 25 year club and was a Catholic.
He is survived by his loving wife, Julia Rodriguez Garza of Point Comfort; daughters, Patsy Jones and husband, Allan of Rockdale, Elizabeth Rodriguez and husband, Ronnie of Cuero, Hope Pilgrim and companion, Louis Faltesek of Placedo; siblings, Andrea Flores, Jacinta Santellana and Lawrence Garza all of Angleton; 4 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Sylvia Ann Shed; son, Frank Garza Jr. and 3 siblings.
Visitation will be held Monday, February 28, 2011 from 5-7 p.m. at Richardson-Colonial Funeral Home with a rosary to begin at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Port Lavaca Cemetery.
Pallbearers are his grandsons, Roy Pilgrim, Rocky Rodriguez, Jon Eric Rodriguez and friends, Dillard McKay, Edwin Anderle and Felipe Sanchez.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Hospice of South Texas.
