Gwen Hall, 66, of Port Lavaca passed away September 15, 2014. She was born October 27, 1947 in Glenridge, NJ to the late Willard and Lauretta Purdy. She was a retired Nurse, member of the Eastern Star and United Methodist Women.
She is survived by her daughters, Debbie Stauffer and Gidget (Steve) Petty; sons, Michael (Jennifer) Hall and Lloyd (Melissa) Hall; sister, Jewel (Bobby) Stary; brother, Steve (Vicki) Purdy; grandchildren, Jamie Stauffer, Steffa Hall, Matthew Thompson, Meggan Hall, Haley Thompson and Michael Ryan Hall and great-grandchild, Aidyn Reynolds.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gaylon Hall and parents.
A Memorial Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 17, 2014 from 6-8 p.m. at Richardson-Colonial Funeral Home. Memorial Services will be held Thursday, September 18, 2014 at 10 a.m. at First United Methodist Church with Pastor Mark Porterfield officiating.
