Herlinda Villarreal, 67, of Port Lavaca passed away May 4, 2021. She was born August 30, 1953, in Port Lavaca to Willie Garcia Jr. and Amelia Lara Garcia. She was a waitress for over 40 years and a member of Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church. She was a loving Mother, wife, sister, aunt and friend to many. A very giving, caring woman. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She also enjoyed Dancing with her husband at weddings, anniversaries, quincineras and seeing Tejano band. She is survived by her husband, Guadalupe Villarreal; daughters, Betty Villarreal, Diana Camacho, and Flavia Villarreal; sons, Michael Garcia, Esteven Villarreal, Rolando Villarreal, and Joe Villarreal Jr.; sisters, Mary Ann Carriles, Ofelia Garcia, Betty Barrientes, Virginia Mireles, Olga Garcia, Gloria Ovalle; brothers, Rudy Garcia, Willie Garcia III, Julio Garcia, Lupe Garcia, David Joe (Buffy) Garcia; and many grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Allen Garcia, her parents and a sister, Amelia Ann Pecina. Visitation will be Friday, May 14th from 5-7 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. at Richardson-Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be Saturday, May 15th at 1 p.m. at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church with Father James Dvorak officiating. Pallbearers are Rudy Garcia, Robert Garcia, Lonnie Paul Carriles, David Peavy, Albert Joe Jr. Barrientes, and David Joe (Buffy) Garcia. Honorary Pallbearers are Julio Garcia and Albert Barrientes. Herlinda Villarreal, 67, of Port Lavaca passed away May 4, 2021. She was born August 30, 1953, in Port Lavaca to Willie Garcia Jr. and Amelia Lara Garcia. She was a waitress for over 40 years and a member of Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church. She was a loving Mother, wife, sister, aunt and friend to many. A very giving, caring woman.
