Inez Sikes Broussard, 85, of Port Lavaca passed away August 23, 2015. She was born July 25, 1930 in Coleman, TX to the late Thomas Marion and Annie Pearl McCurdy Gray. She was a retired secretary with Calhoun County ISD and a member of the Church of Christ.
She is survived by her daughter, Patty Sikes Shafer and husband, Cecil Shafer; sister, Dorothy Hadisoenarto; grandchildren, Jennifer Shafer, Shannon Shafer, Wesla Shafer Caffey and great-grandchildren, Zachary, Zayn, Zory, Luke, Landon and Emily.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, James Tilden Sikes; second husband, Wallace Broussard; brother, Don Gray.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 26, 2015 from 5-7 p.m. at Richardson-Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday, August 27, 2015 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home chapel with Shan Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Gardens.
