Shorty was a traditional, hard working family man. He was a simple man. He believed if someone couldn't get it or do it on their own, they didn't need it. He loved to fish and be on the water, he loved to mow and maintain yards, anyone's yard. He didn't have to be asked to do anything, if he saw it needed done, he went and did it. He made up his own mind; no one told him what to do or when and everyone answered him with "yes sir". He loved, adored, and spoiled his wife. He loved his kids and his grandkids even more. When we said no, he said yes. They knew they could get away with almost anything at Mamaw and Papaw's house. There's is NOTHING that he wouldn't have sacrificed, given up, or done for his family. He was loved deeply and will be missed everyday.
Shorty is survived by his daughters, Holly Morales (Michael Haden), Charlye Redman (Christopher), Brandie Morales (John Quintanilla), Journi Klamm (Marcus) and Toni Sullivan; son, James M. Huddler; sister, Billie Ann Gill; 23 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lisa Huddler; parents, William and Martha Huddler; and son, Jimmy Huddler.
