James Andrew Wisdom

Olivia- James Andrew Wisdom passed away May 16, 2015 at the age of 73. He was born December 22, 1941 in Llano, TX to the late Joe and Ethel Wisdom. He was a retired equipment operator for Halliburton, Inc. and a member of the Lavaca 36 AF 7 AM Masonic Lodge.

He is survived by his sisters, Betty Sutton (JL) and Virginia Franklin (Clark), sons, Jimmy Wisdom (Charlene) and Jerrod Wisdom (Jodi) both of Kansas; daughters, Andrea Dobbratz (Daniel), Jodi Burriola (Billy) and Ashley Graveson (Skeeter) all of Port Lavaca; grandchildren; Jacob Wisdom (Samantha), Jamie Shannon, Tyler Persilver, Ashleigh Persilver, Hailey Dobbratz, Kelsea Dobbratz, Avery Graveson and Addisyn Graveson; and his great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

James was preceded in death by his wife, JoAnn Wisdom, parents, and brother Joe Wisdom.

Visitation will be held from 5 pm to 7 pm on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at Richardson Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral services are Thursday, May 21, 2015 at 2 pm at Richardson Colonial Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Olivia Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Wisdom, Jerrod Wisdom, Daniel Dobbratz, Tyler Persilver, Billy Burriola, and Skeeter Graveson.

A celebratory dinner will be held following the burial at the Oliva Volunteer Fire Dept.
