JoAnne Matura, 58 of Port Lavaca, passed away Thursday, February 10, 2011. She was born September 20, 1952, in Houston to the late Louis J. Pekar and Pauline Bienek Pekar Pierce. JoAnne was the owner of Keep U Neat Cleaners in Port Lavaca.
Survivors include her husband, Raymond Matura, of Port Lavaca; daughter, Diane Matura Lucas and husband, Jeff, of Canyon Lake; son, Victor Matura and wife, Tari, of Brandon, Mississippi; sister, Carolyn Pekar Heatwole, of Houston; grandchildren, Mindy Lucas, Beverly Lucas, J.C. Lucas and Lauren Matura; nieces, Cristy Britt and Natalie Longacre.
The family will receive friends on Friday, February 11, 2011, from 5 to 7pm at Richardson Colonial Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2011, at 1:00 pm at Richardson Colonial Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Port Lavaca City Cemetery.
