Joyce Marie Flanigan, 73, of Port Lavaca passed away with her family by her side on December 5, 2021. She was born in Karnes County on December 16, 1947 to George James and Bernice Woytasczyk. Joyce was known all over Calhoun County and surrounding areas for the wonderful cakes she made. She was also a very talented beautician.
She is survived by her daughter, Dawn Johnson and son-in-law, Jimbo Johnson; son, Ronnie Flanigan; sisters, Margaret Jackson and Linda Kurtz; brothers, Jerry, Jimmy, and Ricky Woytasczyk; grandchildren, Zach Johnson and wife, Santanna, Devin Johnson, Megan Innes, and Kaitlyn Whittnebert; and great-grandchildren, Brynlynn and Rhett Johnson.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Patricia Krueger and Betty Glasgow.
