Joyce "Sissy" Key

Joyce “Sissy” Key, 76, of Seadrift passed away June 29, 2025. She was born March 6, 1949 in San Antonio to Gerald F. and Eileen Joyce McCown. Sissy retired as the office manager after many years of service with Seadrift Pipeline/Dow. She enjoyed many years of traveling and going to different venues playing music with Leroy and she also sang in the community choir.

She is survived by her sisters, Barbara Levine (Jerome), Glynda Sexton, Darlene Cox, and Sheralyn Maddux (Terry); and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Key; parents; and sister, Lynda Hunter.

Sissy will be buried in Seadrift Cemetery.

Memorial donations in Sissy’s name may be made to Christian Broadcasting Network or IFCJ (international fellowship of Christians and Jews).
