
Lucille Ann Gary passed away Monday, December 24, 2012. She was born April 26, 1925, in Nada, Texas to Method Hoffman, Sr. and Mary Stavinoha Hoffman. She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Lee Gary, and three brothers and two sisters.
Lucille is survived by four daughters, Carolyn (Don) Hopmann, Delia (Patrick) McGrath, Donna (Martin) Key and Nancy (Brett) Bolting; granddaughters, Laura Hopmann Fuller, Theresa Key Loveall, Paige Bolting; grandsons, Charles Hopmann, Steve Hopmann , Randy Key and Brandon Key. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren, her sister, Edith Pope and brother, Method Hoffman, Jr. (Mary).
Lucille was a devoted wife of 66 years and a loving mother and homemaker. She was an avid golfer in retirement. She was a gifted seamstress and artist and was a former member of the Port Lavaca Art Guild. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW, Post 4403.
Visitation will be Friday, December 28, 2012, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Richardson Colonial Funeral Home in Port Lavaca. A funeral mass will be held Saturday, December 29, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic church. A rosary will be said preceding the Mass at 10:00. Interment will be at the Port Lavaca cemetery.
