Mahlon “Mike” Wiles, 80, of Port Lavaca passed away May 15, 2013. He was born June 30, 1932 in New Castle, Indiana to the late Reed and Lillian Wiles. He was retired from VistaWall in Terrell, TX as a Vice President and served in the US Air Force during the Korean War. Mike was a member of the VFW Post 4403 in Port Lavaca.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Rose Wiles and his parents.
He is survived by his son, Michael Reed Wiles and Mary Bush of Lolita; daughter, Teresa and Rick Thompson of Indianapolis, Indiana and granddaughter, Carisa Thompson; sister, Dixie Ray of Bloomington, Indiana; Significant Other, Neecy Wuensch of Port Lavaca, TX and her children, Steve and Charlotte Durham of Bedford, TX, Susan and Mike Riley of Port Lavaca, Marsha and Darrel Foster of North Richland Hills, TX, Rodney and Pamela Durham of Corpus Christi and Laurie Uncel of Roanoke, TX.
A Memorial Service will be held Monday, May, 20, 2013 at 10 a.m. at Richardson-Colonial Funeral Home with military honors under the auspices of the Calhoun County Veterans Joint Honor Guard.
