Mary Romo Padron, 88, of Port Lavaca passed away April 12, 2018. She was born September 25, 1929 in Placedo to Pasqual and Herlinda Esparza Romo. She was a member of Our Lady of the Gulf and was a former member of the Legion of Mary. She is survived by her daughters, Dolores Gonzales (Mike), Delphine Padron, Christine Torres (Danny), Beatrice Orta (Joe), Theresa Rodriguez (Tim Robinson); son, David Anthony Padron; sister, Connie Mendoza (Cruz); grandchildren, Sonya, Cynthia, Matthew, Jeremy, Ashley, Josh, Bethany, Nick, Clarissa, LeAnna and Valerie and great-grandchildren, Addison, Kash, Mason, Anabelle, Jeremiah, Andrew and Kataleya. She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Diaz Padron; parents; sisters, Louisa Rivera, Marcelina Galvan, and Virginia Gonzales and brothers, Gilbert Romo and Raymond Romo. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 13, 2018 from 5-7 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. in Richardson-Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church with Father Tommy Chen officiating. Burial will follow in Port Lavaca Cemetery.
