Nana L. Passmore

Nan Passmore, 79, of Port Lavaca passed away February 3, 2015. She was born September 16, 1935 in Rockport, TX to the late Travis Lee and Lorena Eloise Olney Madden. She was a retired Nurse with the Matagorda County Hospital District and member of First United Methodist Church in Port Lavaca. She was also a member of the Eastern Star and Past President of the Women’s Auxiliary at Eagles Lodge.

She is survived by her sons, Doyle Passmore of Port Lavaca, Morris Passmore (Bernadette) of Port Lavaca; daughters, Carla Fertitta (Bill) of Beaumont, Sherry King (Grady) of Port Lavaca, Deborah Whitis (Harold) of San Antonio; brother, Travis “Skippy” Madden Jr. of Victoria; grandchildren, Shaunn Claiborne (Whitney), Patrick Passmore, Amanda Massey (Scott), Jason Passmore (Misty), John Passmore (Brianna), Jennifer Fertitta, Rebecca Magallon (Jesus), Grady King Jr. (Angi), Casey King, Brooke Halliburton (Cole), Zachary Dohmann (Brianna) and 15 great-grandchildren and 1 on the way.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Passmore; parents and grandchild, Jody King and great-grandchild, Berkley Passmore.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 14, 2015 at 10 a.m. at First United Methodist Church with Mark Porterfield officiating.
