Pete Vargas Sr.

He is survived by his wife, Juanita Cavazos Vargas; daughters, Josephine Lois Perez, Pauline Garza, Diana Vargas and Mary Jane Vargas; sons, Pete Vargas, Jr., Felix Vargas, Johnny Vargas, Jesse Vargas, Seferino Vargas, Sr. and Tony Vargas; sister, Rosa Gonzalez; brother, Jose Vargas, Jr.; 22 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Anise Gonzalez and Mary Villarreal.

Visitation will be held Monday, July 19, 2010 from 6-8 p.m. at Richardson-Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Cornerstone Assembly of God, Rev. Jose Maria Trevino officiating. Interment will follow in Port Lavaca Cemetery.

Pallbearers are AFC Tyler Hewitt, Joshua Vargas, Justin DeLeon, Jonathan Vargas, Christopher Navarro, Christina Vargas, Seferino Vargas, Jr. and Joel Vargas.
