I lived in Port Lavaca from 1984 to 1990, and lived right behind Margaritaville Club on Main Street. Rudy welcomed me as a younger brother and always kept in touch with me through the years , as I moved to Florida. I have tried to contact my brother since April, but all his numbers were inactive! Now I find out he is gone. I loved Rudy so much, and feel the pain as if he just passed. Please have someone, Bobby R or Lee call Andy at 407-300-0551!

Rudy, yes you always had that beautiful smile on your face. I will always remember the good old days when we would all get together, go out shoot pool and then go over to my parents house and continue to just have good quality time listening to music.
God Bless you my friend and thank you for the good memories and friendship.
May you Rest in Peace.

Our condolences to Rudy’s family. I don’t ever remember a time that I saw Rudy that he didn’t have a smile on his face ...he was always smiling. He will be truly missed. Rest In Peace my friend and God Speed... The McDonald Family

I remember that great smile that Rudy was always so happy to give. When I first came to visit Port Lavaca almost 40 years ago, he was one of the first to welcome me with open arms. Rudy, Nena and Abel's parents went out of their way to make me feel at home. He would always introduce me as his favorite sister-in-law and we would both erupt into huge giggles. Rudy had the biggest heart and each visit was always filled with laughter, adventures, and just getting to know all those who loved him. Port Lavaca just won't seem the same without him. But all the warmth and caring that was Rudy will surely be a part of each of our hearts forever.
