My name is Clint Herzer,in Victoria. I had worked at the front sales counter,at Mid Coast Electric and Wholesale Electric. I got to know Rudy as he came in frequently,for material. He was a pleasure to wait on,as he was a professional electrician. Upon filling his order,the conversation always turned to fishing!!!!  I never got to fish with him,but I could tell he was a true fisherman!!!! I will always remember him. I was blessed to meet him and help him.

I haven’t seen Rudy in years (I still remember him as “baby Rudy), but thought of him recently when he was a young electrician’s apprentice at Zachry. He was eager to learn, always cheerful, happy, funny, and full of life.
I regret missing his memorial, not seeing the rest of the family, and missing the opportunity to meet those who I haven’t had the pleasure to know. May God bless you during this sorrowful time…

Rudy and I worked for Zachry in the late 80's, he always made work so much fun.

Rudy asked me if I would be willing to do his new-hire orientations.  I told him if he would teach me how then I could probably work it into my schedule.  Rudy said great "Class starts in 5 minutes."

Class had about 10 to 12 new-hires.  Rudy was a good story teller, his classes were fun and entertaining which meant you couldn't help but learn a lot when you went to hear him.  Rudy was always the first to help anyone who needed help.

Rest in Peace Rudy, we will all be seeing you soon.

Rudy...A good guy and great co-worker, always a pleasure to be around you and work with you, and a damn good friend. May you rest in peace and prayers to your family.

I’m so very sorry for your loss. My late husband Mario Flores went to school with Rudy.  Mario died 19 years  ago & I truly know how hard this is. I’m sending prayers for  comfort & peace for your family.  May Rudy RIP.  ✝️🙏🙏🙏✝️

I  surely join the family amd friends in mouring the loss of our friend and co-worker Rudy....I can truly and honestly say he is and will be missed. May his soul rest in peace.

Rudy was a good guy to work with, I knew him to be an Honest straight forward kinda guy. He will be missed. Fly high my friend.

My Uncle Rudy was a man who lived life to the fullest. A free spirit who loved his family and friends dearly.  He was the kind of person who would be there for you no matter what.  You will be so missed.  This isn't a goodbye, just a see you later.  We'll carry the torch for you.  Until we meet again my dear uncle. Love you always.
