Tom Edward Garrett, 72, of Port Lavaca passed away July 11, 2022. He was born May 18, 1950 in Victoria to Earnest and Ghacia Garrett. Tom was retired from CCISD where he was a school bus driver and was a member of First Baptist Church in Port Lavaca. He was a train enthusiast and was fascinated with astronomy.
He is survived by his children, Daniel E. Garrett (Melissa) and Lacey M. Garrett both of Colorado; sister, Debbie Wilburn Daugherty of Texas; brother, Melvin Earl Garrett of Texas; and 2 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
