Vanessa Blevins Burke

Vanessa Burke, 57, of Port Lavaca passed away September 11, 2025. She was born June 5, 1968 in Port Lavaca to Kenneth Dale “Peanut” Blevins and Kathy L. Polous Blevins. Vanessa worked in home health for COS of Texas and was member of the Cowboy Fellowship in Port Lavaca.

She is survived by her husband, Johnny Burke; daughter, Brandy Lee; son, Braven Davis Burke; and brother, Allen Dale Blevins and his wife Kristie; nephew, Jordan Blevins, Grayson Blevins; and niece, Cheyenne Burma.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law, Stephen Burke.

Visitation will be held Friday, September 26, 2025 from 9-10 a.m. at Cowboy Fellowship in Port Lavaca followed by services at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Seadrift Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family to help defray funeral expenses.
