

Alice was born in Albany, New York, and lived in Hannacroix, New York. She graduated from Maria College with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and worked for several years as a Registered Nurse. In 1995, she retired after many years of service as a Medical Transcriptionist at the Albany Empire State Plaza.
Alice enjoyed traveling and RVing to Florida, spending time in the Daytona Beach area. She loved beach outings, boating, camping, dancing, and spending time with family and friends.
Alice was predeceased by her mother, Edna E. Sorell Boehlke; her father, Charles Martin Boehlke; and her sister, Blanche R. Konsul.
She is survived by her son, Louis P. Gugliara of Daytona Beach, Florida; her daughter-in-law, Therese J. Gugliara, of Daytona Beach, Florida; her granddaughter, Angelica M. Lynch, of Daytona Beach, Florida; her grandson, Louis F. Gugliara, of Port Orange, Florida and his spouse, Tara Gugliara.
She is also survived by her great grandchildren: Guiliana Walker, Christian Walker, Mia Gugliara, and Eva Gugliara; her brothers, Charles M. Boehlke Jr. and George H. Boehlke; and her sisters, Marion L. Meyer and Annette Re.
Memorial donations may be made to Halifax Health Hospice Care Center in Ormond Beach, Florida.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, June 25, at 3:00 pm at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home - Port Orange, 4815 S. Clyde Morris Blvd., Port Orange Florida 32129.
May she be at peace in God's beautiful palace, dancing joyfully with the angels. Though our hearts are heavy with her loss, we take comfort in knowing she is surrounded by love and light. Her memory will live on in the lives she touched, and she will be sorely missed every day.
