

Anne was born on April 11, 1937 in Warrenton, Virginia to Brodie Tinsley and Lurline Smith Tinsley.
She lived a life defined by love, kindness, strength, and devotion to her family. She found joy in spending time with those she loved most and created countless cherished memories that will be treasured forever.
Anne was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband of 63 years, Samuel Daniel Craun, her parents, and brothers; Thomas Brody Tinsley, Jr., Earnest James Tinsely, Charles Stewart Tinsley, and Harry Vincent Tinsely.
She was a loving mother to Gregory Daniel Craun and Barry Thomas Craun, a proud Memaw to five grandchildren, and a great-Memaw to five great-grandchildren. Her family was the center of her life, and she took great pride in watching each generation grow.
She is survived by her children Gregory (Linda) and Barry (Elisa); her grandchildren, Tyler (Sophia) Craun, Sarah Craun, and step-grandchildren to Tanner (Melissa) Cantrell, Brandon Cantrell, and Logan Cantrell; great-grandchildren, Darcy Craun, Esther Craun, Hazel Craun and step-great grandchildren, Miles Cantrell and Ella Cantrell; as well as her cherished nieces and nephews; Peggy Tinsley (Jim) Foley, Thomas (Julie) Tinsley, Michelle Tinsley Karnes, Mark Tinsley, Susie Tinsley (Gary) Cox, Margaret ‘Maggie’ Tinsley, Charles Tinsley, Michael Tinsley, and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Anne will be remembered for her gentle spirit, unwavering love, generous heart, and the wisdom she shared with everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her legacy lives on through the family she cherished and the lives she touched.
A celebration of her life will be held on July 6, 2026. A time of gathering before the service will be from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm and the service will begin at 3:00 pm officiated by Pastor Eric Stitts at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home at 4815 Clyde Morris in Port Orange, Florida.
Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate her life and honor her memory.
She will be deeply missed and forever loved. Though she is no longer with us, her love will remain in our hearts always.
