

Carol Elizabeth (Boes) Locke passed away on January 29, 2024, at her home in Daytona Beach Shores, Florida. She was born on December 16, 1947, in Stamford, Connecticut. She has resided in Daytona Beach Shores for the past 30 years. Carol was a talented interior decorator and excelled in her career as an executive secretary. She graduated from Brian McMahon High School and later attended Katherine Gibbs for higher education.
Carol was a woman of many interests and hobbies. She had a deep love for all things Irish and enjoyed decorating her home for different seasons and holidays. Her passion for interior design extended beyond her professional life as she often kept her husband, Phil, busy with painting and rearranging furniture. Additionally, Carol was an avid wine enthusiast appreciating the finer tastes life had to offer.
Family was of utmost importance to Carol. She adored her husband Phil, and cherished her role as a mother to her daughters, Colleen Locke, Corinne Skrtich and Shannon Porell. Carol's love extended to her ten grandchildren; Bailey, Julia, Abigail, Austin, Isabelle, Connor, Corey, Maya, Kody and Joselyn.
Carol also adored her many siblings; William Boes, Brenda LeBlanc, Valerie Cappiello, Laura Benjamin, and In-laws Madeline Boes, Frank Cappiello, Bruce Benjamin and son in law Paul Skrtich.
Carol's warm and caring nature endeared her to those who knew her. She had a special place in her heart for the beach and music, finding solace and joy in their presence. Her children and grandchildren were the light of her life and she always made time to show them her unwavering love and support.
Carol was preceded in death by her father, Earl Boes, and her mother, Rita Boes. Their memories will forever be treasured in the hearts of those who knew them.
A celebration of Carol's life will be held at a future date.
In loving memory of Carol Elizabeth Locke, she will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched. May her soul find eternal peace. Until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of his hand.
