Charles Bryan Kimmel

Charles was born on July 3, 1947, in Pittsburg, PA, to Charles B. Kimmel, Sr. and Gladys Wright. He had earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from McMurry College in Abilene, Texas. He proudly served his country in one form or another his entire life. He served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Saratoga; he then served as a federal agent with the United States Secret Service; he spent a brief time with the State Attorney Generals Office in Miami, Florida, and then finished his distinguished career as a federal agent with the FDA Office of Criminal Investigations. He married the love of his life, Lillian Kimmel on August 13, 1977. They raised 2 children together. Charles lived in numerous places as a child of an Air Force Master Sergent, having graduated from Chofu High School in Japan in 1965.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Lillian Kimmel (Allen) and their 2 children Patricia Kimmel of Lancaster, OH, and Michael Kimmel (Mandy) of Columbus, Ohio. His grandchildren Corey Speert of Marysville, OH, Joseph Speert (Pam) of Columbus, OH, Shane Kimmel (Caitie) of Chicago, IL), Dylan Jackman of Hollywood, FL, Zoe Gosa of Columbus, OH, Olivia King of Columbus, OH, Adam Smith of Columbus, OH, Cacie Smith of Columbus, OH, Micah Smith of Columbus, OH. He also was grandpa to great grandchildren Chloe, Naomi, Tristan, Avery, Logan, Kali and Khloe. Grandson in law Justin Webb (Galloway, OH), and multiple cousins and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents Charles B. Kimmel, Sr., and Gladys Wright, and granddaughter Danielle Nicole Webb.

Charles loved water sports: fishing, snorkeling, and boating; he loved to read and loved to watch documentaries about various wars and history; he loved to travel and loved to go cruising with his wife; loved to listen to music and dance; he and his wife loved hosting friends and family to parties at their home.

We were blessed to have him! He lived a happy and full life!!!
