

Clayton D. Cook, age 28, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Daytona Beach, FL, on August 21, 2024. He was born May 1, 1996, in Winter Park, Florida to Doug and Sandy Cook.
Clay grew up in Daytona Beach, Florida, attending St. James Episcopal School and graduating from Seabreeze High School, magna cum laude in 2015. Clay went on to University of North Florida where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management and a minor in Leadership. He developed an interest in real estate investment and all aspects of real estate development. Clay had an entrepreneurial spirit.
An athlete at heart, Clay was an avid FSU football fan, passionate about The Pittsburgh Steelers and a dedicated Lebron James fan. He enjoyed various sporting events with his brother Jeremy, as often as possible.
Clay was a dog whisperer. His college dog Princess was a special friend and he adored his current dog, a french bulldog, Major.
Clay was a devoted son and loving brother. He is survived by his mother, Sandy Cook and brother Jeremy Cook, his aunts and uncles, Robert Cook (Linda), Linda Cook Norman (Gary), Eileen Cook Dyer (James), and William D, Cook (Robyn). cousins Kelly (Jim), Katie, Lindsey, Laura (Rueben), Andrew (Elizabeth), Nicole (Jim), Bill, Del, Tyler, Casey and Hugo Felix.
He is preceded in death by his father Douglas Cook, grandfather William Cook, grandmother Eileen Cook and uncle James (Jim) Cook.

A Visitation with Viewing will be held Monday, September 2nd, at 11:00am in the chapel at the Daytona Beach Drive In Church, 3140 S. Atlantic Ave., Daytona Beach 32118 with a Celebration of Clayton's Life beginning formally at 11:30am. A reception will follow in the Friendship Hall.
