Dane M. Henley, 29, of South Daytona, FL passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2019. He was born March 30, 1989, in Sanford, FL to his loving parents Mark Henley and Christine Henley.

Dane lived his life with kindness and compassion. He was a loyal friend and enjoyed a simple laid-back life. He loved playing golf with his dad, walking on the beach with mother, going to Orlando Magic games with his sister and being with his family for the reunions. When Dane wasn’t with his family he was playing poker, soccer, basketball, video games, or his favorite past-time, watching the Steelers. Life taught Dane to work hard and not to sweat the small stuff. He will leave a legacy of a loving son, brother and friend. Dane is survived by: his father Mark Henley, mother: Christine Henley, and his sister: Jessica Henley. He will be dearly missed by all those that knew and loved him.

A Celebration of Life service for Dane M. Henley will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2019, 2pm at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home located at 4815 Clyde Morris Blvd, Port Orange, FL. A Committal Service will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery located at 5000 County Road 46A, Sanford, FL.

It is with profound sadness to learn of Dane’s passing. He was genuinely one of the kindest, funniest, and genuine people ever! My son too has epilepsy so we had may a discussion. I will forever remember him. You did a fantastic job Mom and Dad! My heart breaks for you and your family.
