Elizabeth "Beth" Ann McElveen

Elizabeth Ann McElveen (Beth Brown) 58, of Port Orange, Florida passed away unexpectedly on 5 July 2026. She was born on 10 December 1967 in Louisville, KY to Cecilia (Cecy) and Clarence (C.B.) Brown. Beth was a cherished spouse, sibling, daughter in law, aunt and friend. Though her time with us was tragically cut short her kindness and loving sweet spirit will forever be remembered by those who had the privilege to know her.

Beth is and will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her husband, Shannon McElveen, stepdaughter Hailey McElveen and step granddaughter, Presleigh, siblings Viv Davis (Rick), Susi Kather, Jan Kather (Mike), Jim Brown (Linda) and Teri Farmer.

She is also survived by her mother in law Gloria McElveen, brothers in law Stephen McElveen (Beverly), Sean McElveen (Cheryl), sister in law Lara Sutton (Brian). Many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her closest friends, Becky, Wendy and Trina and her nephew Brian and countless other family and friends.

Beth was a 1985 graduate of Western High School, Louisville, KY and retired from a career with AT&T. Beth LOVED animals especially elephants.

Beth’s final resting place will be at Louisville Memorial Gardens West Cemetery in Louisville, KY.
