Eugene Levi Swisher, Sr., 93, of Port Orange FL passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2015. Born June 14, 1921, Eugene was a U.S. Navy veteran who relocated to this area in 1975 from Pennsylvania. He is survived by daughter Carolyn (Steve) Tushup, son Eugene L. Swisher Jr., and stepdaughter Irene (Les) Ermold; grandchildren, Sharon Tushup, Elaine (Dan) Shutt, Gena (Scott) Paul, Christopher (Tracy) Ermold, Kelly Ermold, and Kerry Douglas Ermold; great-grandchildren, Marcus Shutt, Samantha Shutt, MacKenzee Paul, and Cameron Paul; as well as many Swisher nieces and nephews who were all dear to his heart. He will be greatly missed. Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church, 316 Church St., Port Orange FL 32127, where Eugene was a member for many years. Arrangements are entrusted to Shannon Maloney Funeral Home.
