Frank Addeo, 80, of Port Orange died peacefully in Hospice care on May 16, 2014. Frank, also lovingly known as “Frankie,” Dad, Pop Pop, or Grandpa “Boo,” was born in Newark, New Jersey on July 1, 1933. A graduate of Central High School, Frank went on to proudly serve in the U.S. Army. Frank spent 10 years working at Publix Westport Plaza. An avid fan of horse racing and poker, he was a regular at the Daytona Beach Kennel Club.
He is survived by his children Anthony Addeo (Debbie), Cathi Gonzalez (Mario), Jerry Addeo, and Mick Addeo; brothers Anthony Addeo and Fred Addeo; sister Virginia Molinaro; grandchildren Marci Gonzalez, Christina Gonzalez, Richard Gonzalez, Nick Addeo, Matt Addeo, Zac Addeo and Sarah; great grandchildren Kloee and Penny.
Frank will be remembered for his sense of humor and love for his family. He was a wonderful father and grandfather and is already so greatly missed. His viewing will be at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home in Port Orange Sunday, May 18th between 2-5pm followed by a memorial service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Volusia/Flagler County.
