Pete had a larger-than- life presence full of adventure, travel, and excitement. Pete’s first job was working on the railroad, then he became a telephone lineman; and eventually, he had a career as a telephone communications engineer; a position that enabled him to travel throughout the years. He and Margaret emigrated from England to Canada in 1967 and then moved to the United States in 1969; finally settling in Tampa, FL. His travels would take his family from Tampa, FL to Beaverton, OR; back to Tampa and then putting down some roots in Fruitland Park, FL. Later years found the family in Charlottesville, VA,; Snellville, GA and his senior years were spent in Port Orange, FL. He and Margaret also vacationed in many different cities/countries as well. Pete made friends wherever he went and he loved to have friends over for a game of cards or darts. He also was an avid photographer. He loved antiquing, trains and vintage cars. Family, travel, and new adventures were Pete’s favorite things! His zest for life’s adventures will be sorely missed!
A very special thank you to Vitas Healthcare and their staff for their considerable amount of help and support during this difficult time.
