Harry P. Farrelly, age 81, Port Orange died on Saturday, December 16, 2017. An Irishman by birth, he was married to his wife, Pauline, for 57 years. He was employed as a compositor at the Newark Star Ledger, Newark, NJ and Colby & McGowan Printers NJ. Following his work years, he retired to Florida in 1997. Harry served in the United States Army at Fort Benning, GA from 1960-1962. He enjoyed swimming, tennis, handball, and walking. Harry was a wonderful husband, a kind soul, and a great friend. He is deeply missed.
He is reposing at Shannon Maloney Funeral Home, 4084 Halifax Dr., Port Orange, where there will be prayers and viewing from 5pm-7pm on Wednesday, December 27th. Mass and burial for Harry will be in Ireland, with Gibney's Funeral Home of Old Castle, County Meath, Ireland providing services. May his soul rest in peace.
