James Edward Young, 79, of Port Orange, passed away 2/20/2013 at Halifax Medical Center, Daytona Beach. He was born May 28, 1933 in Knoxville, TN . After serving in the U.S.Air Force, Jim had a distinguished career as a Foreign Service Officer for the State Department in Washington DC. He is survived by his wife Kim Young; his children Karen Young Bookhultz, Christopher Young, Karla Young Sweeney; ; grandchildren Christopher & Courtney Bookhultz, Joseph, Riley & Ellie Sweeney, sister Hilma Adkins.
