We dug worms in the backyard and went fishing on our bikes to dark-hollow. In the winter we built snow forts road our American Flyer sleds until after dark. What I remember the most, is when the world was against me, you protected me, watched out for me and we had an unspoken bond, a closeness as brother and sister should. I miss you, Johnny.

Sure, there were ups and downs. And, yes there were rights and wrongs.
But his presence was bright and always strong.

For his passion of bass fishing was a lifetime fulfilled, but his pain was deep for his war buddies killed.
Arlington National Cemetary, such hallowed ground, for the noblest of reasons our freedom was found.
He had a mission to serve his country, so now we honor him as he's beside his war buddies.
All who loved him in their own special way, 
He gave us a gift, nothing can take away.
He lives in our hearts, a gift that will never goe away.

My many thoughts and prayers go out to your family, JC and I will remember you as the gracious, humorous neighbor and friend that you were. May you rest in peace in the kingdom of heaven.

Having known Johnny for 35+ years, I have so many great memories:  Christmases at Chesterfield Road with Chris, Maureen, Larry and the Paulsens; fishing on the Connecticut River and, later, on the St. John River; good times in Deltona and Port Orange and so many more.  Johnny made many friends so easily and was so accepting of me.  I'll cherish the memories!

Mr. C you were a gentleman I always looked up to. You taught me many life lessons. Not with intention, but with life's little actions. You gave me my best friend and much to consider. I can't imagine a great life then changing and challenging all those you met. You were and are an inspiration.

I didn' t know u but I know your son and he is an amazing man all because of you.  May you always RIP...

You will be missed Uncle John. May God welcome you into his kingdom and i hope you see your mom again. RIP

John Cordiero was my uncle , and my moms brother. I cant believe he is gone. May God welcome him into his kingdom and be able to see his mom once more. RIP

Uncle Johnny, you remain one of the most influential people in my life and will be missed, deepest regrets and condolences to your nearest and dearest.
