Mr. John E. Schroeder

John was born on July 2, 1946, in Brooklyn, NY. He was raised in West Babylon, NY, then moved to Florida in 1998.

He is survived by his loving wife Evie Rivera, father of Robert, Chris, Lori, and Thomas Foran III. Adoring father to his two fur babies Shea and Madison. Grandfather of 5. Great-grandfather of 4.

John was a disabled veteran of the US Army during the Vietnam Era. He spent all his spare time coaching and was a Boy Scout leader.

John dedicated his working career with the Telephone Company for 26 years, retiring in 1995. He then was Owner of Built-Right Home Inspection Service. Evie and John spent his remaining years traveling the world on cruises, and road trips to National Parks.

Visitation will be held May 4, 2022, at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, Port Orange, FL, from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Service in the chapel will be at 12:00 pm on May 5, 2022, at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home with interment to fellow at 2:00 pm at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery.
