Lawrence A. Cardino

Lawrence (Larry) A. Cardino, 52, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2016. Larry was born in Montclair, NJ son of Irene and Emil Cardino. He has been a resident of Daytona Beach since 2012 and was the Branch Sales Manager for Anixter. Larry was passionate about: NY Giants , music, movies and of course his family and friends. He played piano ,drums and guitar and performed locally with various bands. He was a screen writer and owned a production company, Archimedes Films, where he wrote, produced and directed 3 independent films. Larry recently submitted a screenplay called “Isn’t it Time” to the Story Pros 9th Annual International Screenplay contest. His entry made it to the top 20% and was entered in the quarter finals. He was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church where he was active in the Loaves & Fishes Ministry, and the Knights of Columbus. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 20 years, Lauren Cardino; his mother, Irene Cardino; daughter, Danielle Rodriguez and her husband Luis; son, Andrew Liscio; brother, Gregory A. Cardino and his wife Nina; and granddaughter, Gabriella Rodriguez. His father Emil and brother Ronald V. Cardino predeceased him. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 1:00 pm Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church 4675 S. Clyde Morris Blvd., Port Orange. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the Loaves & Fishes Ministry at Our Lady of Hope.
