

Lillian E. “Lynn” Peludat passed away the morning of May 20, 2024 in Daytona Beach, FL. Born in Mulberry Grove, IL, Lynn was a seamstress by trade, having always enjoyed the clothing and fashion industry. Relocating to the Daytona Beach area from Mississippi, Lynn attended Church of Christ – Greater Daytona, and loved traveling, meeting up with friends for dinners and tea parties, shopping, collecting antiques and dolls, listening to Elvis and Elvis impersonators, and relaxing near the shore. She married Gerald Peludat in 2007, and quickly became a beloved part of the Peludat family.
Lynn was greeted in Heaven by her first husband, AC Pettus, parents Dana & Roscoe Smith, brother Freddy Pettus, and her sons: Michael Pettus, Randolf Pettus, Tim Pettus, and Gerald “Jerry” Pettus. She is survived by her only living son, Shawn (Dany) Pettus; husband, Gerald Peludat; daughter in law, Tina Easman Pettus; grand children: Arthur J Pettus, Jennifer Pettus, Jaqueline Pettus, Lori Harris, Jerry Pettus (little Jerry), Amber Pargo; several great grandkids, and a host of additional Peludat relatives.
A Gathering of Friends and Family for a Visitation will be held on Friday, May 24, from 10:00 am - 11:30 am at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home - Port Orange, 4815 S. Clyde Morris Blvd. A Funeral Service led by Pastor Raymond Sieg of Church of Christ Greater Daytona will begin at 11:30 am, followed by personal reflections. Graveside Committal will take place Friday, May 24, at 1:30 pm at Sea Pines Memorial Gardens, 3001 S. Ridgewood Ave., in Edgewater.
