

Libby Pangallo-Richards (Milford High School Class of 1966) of DeBary, Florida, died unexpectedly on January 7, 2026, in the ER of Fish Memorial Hospital, Orange City, Florida. She was only 77 years old. The family is deeply saddened and shocked by her sudden death. Libby was born on October 23,1948, to Marco and Elizabeth Pangallo.
A memorial service is being planned for the spring of 2026 in Cincinnati, Ohio, with details to be announced.
Libby is survived and missed by her loving husband Bob Richards (Milford High School Class of 1965 / Morehead State University Class of 1969) of 56 years, and her son Brian. Forever cherished and remembered by her daughter-in-law Ashley and five grandchildren, Alexis, Alyssa, Anthony, Noah, and Mya.
Upon graduating from Milford High School, Libby began working for The Procter & Gamble Company as an Administrative Assistant and later in her career worked as a Payroll Specialist at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati (FHLBC). She took great pride in her work and was known for her reliability, integrity, and attention to detail. Her colleagues respected her professionalism and valued her calm, steady presence. While working at FHLBC her community service earned her the "Community Service Award" for working with inner-city children. After retirement, Libby and her husband Bob, established the Metropolitan Workplace Trust to advocate for entrepreneurship and STEM Education.
Libby is survived by her sisters, Barbara Pangallo Robinson (spouse Jack Robinson), Mary Pangallo Moehr (spouse Dick Moehr), Chris Pangallo Butler (spouse Jeff Butler), preceded in death by her sister Rosella, and her surviving brothers Mark Pangallo (spouse Betsy Pangallo), Phil Pangallo (spouse Cathy Pangallo), and Joe Pangallo (spouse Jeanne Pangallo).
She devoted her retirement years to motorhome traveling across America with her husband Bob, visiting over 600 cities in a five-year adventure. Her interests included family, her grandkids, reading, and travel.
