Lorraine M. Starnes, 48, of Port Orange, FL, passed away on Saturday, December 1, 2018. She was born January 27, 1970 in Rochester, NY to her loving parents Ronald and Maria Seiler.

Lorraine lived her life to fullest. She had many loves: traveling, watching sports, bodybuilding, modeling, her frill, friends, amazon, sleeping late, First Responder TV shows, the beach, her beloved Florida Gators, being a nurse, and most of all her family!

Life taught many lessons: her family loved her, how to have a lot of common sense, everything about nursing, a lot about sharks because of Spencer and the true essence of what love is.

Lorraine leaves behind a beautiful Legacy and will be remembered as someone who was athletic, stubborn, smart, beautiful, hard working, motivated, talented, competitive, and a wonderful mother and teacher to her children.

Lorraine is survived by her husband David; her children,Taylor and Spencer; her father, Ronald Seiler; sisters, Heather Worthington, Jennifer Erickson, Katie Kotick and Sarah Seiler; brothers Paul and John Cannon, and her fur baby Latte.

Lorraine M. Starnes will be dearly missed by all those that knew and loved her.

Very sad to learn of Lorraine’s death. This summer, she participated in an install of EarlySense at our facility. Not only was she an exceptional nurse, with extensive clinical knowledge, she was an excellent teacher.

She shared a great deal about the love she had for Florida, her husband and her kids.

My sincerest sympathy to her family and friends.

Even tho I did not know Lorraine for long, I enjoyed working with her and found her to be a kind and thoughtful person and a good nurse. It was clear to me from our talks together that her faith and her family were of utmost importance to her. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends. May you be comforted to know others care and to know that she is in God's presence and you will see her again.

Lorraine and I worked together in Napa in about 1998. We commuted to work together, and went on a weekend cruise to Cozumel. We were even pregnant at the same time. Prayers for her loved ones at this difficult time. Lorraine's smile will always be in our hearts.
