Lynne was dedicated all her life to Christ and to helping others. She was a pillar of her congregation and volunteered frequently. She was devoted mother, wife and grandmother.
She was very fond of cats, puzzles, mystery books, and Hummel-Goebel figurines.
Lynne was greeted in Heaven by her husband William K. Hatch, and children Mark Benson and Deborah Benson. Survivors include her son Douglas Benson, step-daughter Anne Hatch, and grandchildren Cassandra Benson-Abrams and Nick Hatch. Also surviving are her sisters, Pat Desimone and Julie A. Gordon-Gebell.
A Celebration of Life for Lynne will be held on Saturday, January 18th with a gathering starting at 11am and Memorial Service starting at 12pm at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home – Port Orange, 4815 S. Clyde Morris Blvd, Port Orange, FL 32129. The family welcomes anyone and everyone that Lynne’s life may have touched.
