

Madeline Catherine Sherbert, 93, of Daytona Beach Shores, passed away on October 29, 2012 in Hospice Care. Madeline was born to Charles and Mary Catherine Weiblen in Pittsburgh, Pa on March 22, 1919. She graduated from Avalon High School. Madeline was married to C. H. Milbert on June 17, 1937. She assisted in the operation of a small business until retiring in 1974. She enjoyed sewing and knitting and did alterations for many. She was on the board of directors of Oceans I condominium, and was involved in many activities at the Grace Episcopal Church since 1982. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Madeline is survived by her daughter Sr. Geraldine Milbert, O.P. (Bronx, NY), her son Philip Milbert and wife Jean (Daytona Beach, FL), grandchildren Scott Milbert and wife Mary Anne (Kingston, MA), Tim Milbert and wife Wendi (Fairhaven, MA) and Kimberlee Chute and husband Jason (Exeter, NH) and great grandchildren, Madison, Harrison, Jackson, Emma, Lindsay and Lauren. Madeline is preceded in death by C.H. Milbert, Fred Ennis and Walter Sherbert.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 4 PM November 23, 2012 at the Chapel at Grace Episcopal Church in Port Orange. Rev. Rick Burhans will be officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to the Grace Episcopal Church Building Fund of Port Orange, FL.
