Marc Gregory Owen, 18 of Daytona Beach was tragically taken from us on January 29, 2015. Marc was born March 9, 1996 in Garden City, Michigan, son of Suzanne Owen and Jeffrey Owen. He enjoyed the outdoors especially ATV’s, skateboarding and dirt bike riding. Spending time with his parents, grandparents and friends was most important to him. Besides his parents left to cherish his memory are his maternal grandparents; Evelyn Swarthout, and Gregory and Claudia Merecki; fraternal grandparents, Fred H. and Deborah Owen; uncles, Fred Owen Jr., Brian Peterson, Jeff Peterson and Mike Peterson. The family will receive friends at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home 4815 Clyde Morris Blvd, Port Orange, Sunday, February 1, 2015 from 11:00- 1:30 with a prayer service to follow at 1:30 p.m. A reception will be held at Spruce Creek Country Club, Sunday from 2:00 p.m. -4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Marc’s name to a charity of one’s choice.
