Margaret “Mimi” Bishop, 100, of Port Orange, passed away April 15, 2013. Mrs. Bishop was born October 10, 1912 in Raymond Minnesota, and has been a resident of this area since 1962. She was a registered nurse and for many years worked at Halifax Hospital and did Private Duty. She will always be remembered for her love of family and animals. She especially took pride in her three grandchildren. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Donna; grandchildren, Crystal Marfiak (John), Cheri Gottlieb (Bill) and Todd Gregory (Heather) and great grandchildren, Kevin, Meghan, Mollie, Cameron, Matthew and Corbin. Her son, Clyde Bishop Jr. predeceased her. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at 6:00 pm Friday May 10, 2013 in the chapel at Hospice of Volusia/Flagler, 3800 Woobriar Trail, Port Orange, 32129. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to Halifax Humane Society or Hospice of Volusia/ Flagler.
