Sadly you will never know how much you were loved. From the time I met you I loved that you shared the same bday as my mom and that you were super sweet to Madison. From the feeding berries to keep her gyms to literally wresting the teen boy’s horse playing on Halloween at Tay’s, or me mom-ing you about driving too fast lol Madison & I will hold you in our heart forever. Thankfully Pokémon Go gave us the chance to bond with you. RIP sweet girl. You are already missed. Praying for your family.

Marissa, you were one of my first friends at youth group! I wouldn’t have met half of the wonderful people that I did if it wasn’t for you! We always had so much fun and you were always the life of the party that kept everyone in a great mood! We haven’t hung out much recently but I still miss you dearly! ♥️

Marissa, I Thank You for showing me how strong I needed to be for my students. You reminded me of myself and it was kinda scary yet I learned so much by watching you grow. You showed me strength and determination has to be from within. Again Thank You for your LIGHT & LIFE!!!

I was fortunate to have lived across from Marissa when my parents and I moved here almost 20 years ago. I remember going outside and seeing Marissa and her dad Jeff playing baseball in their front yard and wanting to join. I got invited over to play and from then forward our families were bonded together 💙 Marissa was such a beautiful, fun woman. I was fortunate to have known her and grow up together. Prayers for her family 🙏🏻

I don't even know where to begin. You were such a spunky little girl! I remember at your Pre-K graduation your sass making us all laugh. When you were a teenager, you would babysit Hannah and she thought you were the coolest. She still does by the way, because you let her listen to music in the car that mommy didn't let her listen to. As you grew into a young lady you became more and more beautiful by the minute and so very smart. I remember your mom telling me how you would correct your teachers when they were wrong. Do you remember the birthday party I threw for Hannah and you came over with a couple of friends to paint the nails of about fifteen 5/6 year old girls? You were a lifesaver. You were a special girl, and will forever hold a special place in our hearts. I know this sounds like rambling but we love you so much and I'm sure this world will never be the same without you in it!

Marissa was such a sweet soul. I met her through my daughter who was attending hygiene school with her. She was her forever cheerleader and encouraged her to not give up and hang in there throughout the hardest parts of school. When ever she came to our house she was always full of smiles and bubbly energy and so at ease with all of us. My heart felt condolences to all those who loved her.

I only got to meet Marissa a couple of times but Tami and I go back to before kindergarten and I could tell that Marissa was the shining star in their eyes. I don't know what I could say to comfort you:
"Where there are no words...know the silences are carrying the thoughts and prayers of all who love you"

I’ve known Marissa since she was about 3 or 4. Her mom and I became best friends over the years of working together. My kids babysat her and she babysat my grandkids. She was loved so much by all of us who knew her. She had a kind spirit that loved animals completely. She could light up a room with her smile and laughter. I will always remember her as the little girl in her battery powered car and dog in the seat next to her having fun. We will miss you sweet girl. Fly with the angels.
