Mary Louise Foster

Mary was a dedicated florist and the proud owner of Mary's Flower Shop for 32 years. She retired at the age of 82. Her beautiful floral arrangements were well-known and cherished at schools, events, and weddings.

She is survived by her son, Randal Satterwhite, and his wife, Eileen; her sisters, Grace Davis of Clemson, South Carolina, and Kathleen Sommer of St. Augustine, Florida. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Stacy Fincher (Nate) and Joy Satterwhite, and her great-grandchildren, Jade, Sumer, Emma, and Noah. She is also survived by a host of loving nieces and nephews.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, James Foster; parents, Laurence and Charlotte Gowen; her siblings, Michael and Larry Gowen, and Betty Turberville, as well as her grandson, Whitney Satterwhite.

The family will host a celebration of life service at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, 4815 Clyde Morris Blvd, Port Orange, FL 32129.

The family will continue to share memories with a reception to immediately follow the service at the funeral home.
