

Mary Margaret Lowe, 82, of Port Orange, Fl. passed away peacefully on May 25, 2012. She was born on September 6, 1929 in Linton, IN, daughter of the late Bonnie (Anderson) and Homer Bailey. She will be remembered for her kindness, loving nature and generosity to family and friends. Volunteering was important to her; starting at her sons’ school and continuing on, she devoted many hours to several charities throughout her life. A resident of Spruce Creek Fly In for the past 28 years, Mary enjoyed traveling and flying with her husband Paul E Lowe until his passing in 2005. She also enjoyed gardening and caring for her pets. Left to cherish her memory are her sons Joseph Burkart of Daytona Beach and James Burkart of Indianapolis, IN ; step daughter Cheryl (Karl) Koch of Indianapolis and step grandchildren; Dustin and Bailey Koch. Besides her husband she was predeceased by her sisters Nancy Sullivan and Dorothy Glanton and her brother William Bailey.
