Mildred M. Rock

Mildred Mary Rock was born in Brooklyn, NY, on February 13, 1933. After graduating from high school, she worked at the phone company. On June 4, 1955, Mildred married the love of her life, John Rock. John and Mildred enjoyed a wonderful life and eventually settled in Port Orange, FL. Retirement brought them more time to enjoy their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A constant in Mildred’s life was her passion for Dunkin Donuts!

After John’s death in 2021, Mildred joined the widows’ group at the Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, where she was a very active member until her death on August 25, 2025.

Mildred is survived by her daughter Mary (Chris Morrell), daughter Theresa Kircher, grandson Beau Soltah (Beth), granddaughter Brittney, and many great-grands!

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 12, from 11 am to 12 noon at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home - Port Orange, 4815 S. Clyde Morris Blvd., Port Orange, FL 32129, with a Funeral Service beginning at 12 noon.
