Nancy Jewell Woods, 78, of Port Orange passed away April 6, 2012 at Halifax Medical Center. Nancy was born in Beaver, PA on December 19, 1934 daughter of the late Earl and Margaret Jewell. A resident of Port Orange since 1987 Nancy enjoyed Bingo, traveling to Las Vegas, her swimming pool, dining at Aunt Catfish’s and going to the beach. She also enjoyed caring for animals including her dogs Snowball and Schnitzel. A devoted mother and grandmother she is survived by her sons, Douglas Woods and his wife Barbara and Gregory Woods and his wife Heather ; five grandchildren, Elizabeth, Katherine, James, Samuel and Benjamin and her niece Susan. Friends may call Friday 4-6 PM at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home 4815 Clyde Morris Blvd. Port Orange. Funeral Services will follow at 6:00 pm.
