Robert "Bob" H. Robacker

Bob was born in Erie, PA, on May 12, 1938, and was the son of Howard and Ida Pearl Robacker. He graduated from Strong Vincent High School where he was Co-Captain of the football team his senior year. He later joined the Marine Corp and served 3 years active duty and 5 years in the reserves. He loved his country and was proud to be a Marine.

After serving his country he began a career in the Welding Supply and Safety Business with Air Reduction, BOC, Fayette Welding Supply and finally S.J. Smith in Davenport, IA, as Executive Vice President. It was there that he met his best friend and soulmate, Anita, and married her January 15, 1994. Bob loved his family and never knew a stranger. He was a great mentor and a man of faith. He was known for his honesty, attitude, and integrity. Both he and Anita were avid boaters and bikers and just treasured being together. He became involved with Pickleball and not only enjoyed playing but also made long lasting friends. Bob also enjoyed hunting especially at his camp in PA, Knock Em Stiff. He was a 60-year member of AWS, a Master Mason, Vice President of the Oceans Golf Club, Board member of Midwest Welding Conference, 35-year member of Lindsay Yacht Club in Davenport, IA, President of BIG Group and numerous other organizations.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Ida Pearle Robacker, sister, Shirlee and Brother, Dale. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Anita, and children Keith Robacker (Barbara), Terri Kleinfelder (Mark), Dan Robacker (Shelly), Correen Montgomery, Scott Sporer (Alissa), and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held at First United Methodist Church of Port Orange, 305 Dunlawton Avenue, Port Orange, FL on May 17, 2025, at 2 PM, followed by a time of fellowship with the family.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Lindsay Park Yacht Club, 2100 E River Drive, Davenport, IA 52803 on

September 25, 2025, at 1 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Tunnels to Towers or any charity of choice.
