Ronald “Kim” Brooks, known as “Short Legs” to his many friends, passed away suddenly Saturday, February 3, 2018 at his home. He is survived by his loving wife, Maureen; two daughters: Misty Large and Kimberly Ellis; stepsons: Adam and Nathan Siple; nine grandchildren, and one great grandchild. Kim was born in Tennessee, but lived most of his life in South Daytona where he enjoyed motorcycles and spending time with his friends in the “garage.”
A Memorial Service is to be held at 12:00pm, Saturday February 10 at First Baptist Church of Port Orange, 316 Church Street, Port Orange, FL. Friends may join the family at a Celebration of Life at his “beloved farm” at 2830 Sauls Street from 1:00pm to 4:00 pm. " . . .Life Is Good. . . "
