Stephen G. Gardner Sr.

Steve is a US Navy veteran. He graduated from Hofstra University with an electrical engineering degree and worked for Hazeltine Corporation before relocating to Florida. Steve, with his wife Catherine, owned and operated Allandale Garden Center and Florist, a local gardening landmark for over 30 years.

Steve is survived by his wife of 60 years, Catherine; son Stephen Gardner Jr. (Heather); daughter Jennifer Williamson (Michael); grandchildren Hannah Gardner, Lauren Gardner, Ethan Williamson, Jacob Williamson, and Logan Williamson; sister Victoria Conway (Chuck); sister Margaret Sagan (Donald). Preceded in death by parents Charles and Helen. Steve was an extraordinary husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.

We will always love and miss ‘Poppy’ until we reunite one day.

A Memorial Service for Stephen will be held Saturday, August 10, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, 4815 Clyde Morris Blvd, Port Orange, FL 32129, followed by a time of gathering for friends and family.
