Vincenza Carella

Our dear mother, Vincenza "Tootsie" Carella, is resting Peacefully in God's care.

She was born on July 2, 1929, to James and Vittoria Focarile "in my mothers bed in East Harlem, NY".

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Joseph (2020) and many other family members.

"Tootsie" will be remembered as a wonderful, faith loving mother who was ALWAYS there when her family needed her the most, offering support, wisdom and an over abundance of love. Her faith taught her to believe in forgiveness.

She loved cooking for her family, friends and every fur baby that came into her life.

Mom had a passion for numbers which lead to an enjoying life of bookkeeping work, balancing her checkbook right to the end. Her memory will live on in those lives she touched, loved and knew.

A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, 4675 S. Clyde Morris Blvd., Port Orange on Friday, February 14, 2025 at 8:30am. Arrangements have been entrusted to Volusia Memorial Funeral Home - Port Orange.
